Our Facility - Boyd Lake Veterinary Center in Loveland, Colorado

Our veterinary hospital features a comfortable, spacious lobby and 3 large exam rooms. It has a pharmacy, surgery suite, radiology room, treatment room, and staff lounge. An isolation ward will separate our contagious patients from the healthy patients.

The kennel consists of 72 dog runs and 12 cat condos. Each run is 14 feet long (separated into a 5 foot eating/sleeping area and a 9 foot exercise/"potty" area) and from 3 to 6 feet wide. They are heated by comfortable in-floor radiant heat in the winter and cooled by evaporative cooling in the summer. The cat condos are 2 feet wide, 2 feet deep, and 4 feet tall. They have 2 floors plus an upper resting ledge. We also have a fish tank, or as we like to call it, "kitty TV".

Skylights and numerous windows provide ample natural sunlight. The exercise area is expansive and secure so our boarders can get out and really stretch their legs. It is separated into three different sections so dogs of similar size can exercise together. They really have a good time together and they only rarely don't get along. We often have people stop on Boyd Lake Avenue just to watch the dogs play together.

The fees for boarding are as follows:
3'x 14' : $19.00 / night (double occupancy: $35.15)
3.5'x 14' : $20.00 / night (double occupancy: $37.00)
4' x 14' : $21.00 / night (double occupancy: $38.85)
6' x 14' : $27.00 / night (double occupancy: $49.95)

Cat condo : $10.50 / night (double occupancy: $19.43)

Exercise time: Approximately 40 to 60 minutes of exercise with other dogs twice daily is included in the boarding fee. Ten minutes of daily one-on-one TLC time is included in the fee for cat boarding.

Daycare while boarding (5-6 hours outside per day) : $9.00 / day

Pool time (20 minutes once daily): $6.00

The grooming room has 2 tables, a bathing tub and its own entrance. Our groomers, Kate Rule and Jeana Rawa, have over 34 years combined experience and are available to groom your pets Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. You can also have your pet groomed at a 10% discount while they are here boarding.

We are very proud of our facility. We feel it gives us everything we need to serve you and your favorite furry family members. We would love to give you a tour. Stop by any time 8:00am to 6:00pm Mon, Tues, Wed, and Fri, and 8:00am to 12:00pm Thurs and Sat.
